"Heroes" by Gerald Sibleyras

"Heroes" by Gerald Sibleyras. Translated from the original French by playwright Tom Stoppard. Directed by Yavé Guzman.

his gentle comedy pays respect to the lives that are forever altered by war. We are let into the hidden world of 3 survivors of World War I, who in 1959 when the play is set, are still living in a hospital for retired military men in France. Even while hatching a plan to escape they realize they are not going anywhere and that they no longer fit in the outside world as it has become.
